Resting Point #1

On our way down to Port Aransas, we made a few stops.
First, we stayed with my cousin, Bonnie, in Waco.  My kids love playing with her kids and animals.  In fact, they have a small zoo going...three tiny chihuahuas, a bunch of fluffy Silkie chickens, baby chicks, Koi fish, an angora rabbit, a Persian cat, and more.
They also have a golf cart, motorized scooters, an in-ground trampoline, a two-story playhouse, and all other kinds of things.  So, the kids were in heaven.
Even with all the toys, Tay managed to get herself into mischief.  While playing in the backyard with Kelson, she ate a banana tree.  Like, a lot.  Apparently, he had seen his mom trimming the bushes earlier.  He wanted to do the same.  In true Tay fashion, she ate the trimmings.  All I saw was running and arms flailing.  All I heard was blood curdling screaming.  We looked it up and they're nontoxic, even edible in some cultures.  She was screaming because the leaves are spicy and burned her throat.  She threw up a little bit.  Other than the poor little tree, everything returned to normal and she was fine.
Over all, their favorite thing was just playing with each other.

Grace has some Ashton Drake dolls that look SO REAL.  Can you spot the real baby?
