Let's go in deep!

We gave wakeboarding a whirl once before, now its time to try it some more.
I am channeling my inner Dr. Seuss here.
Perhaps I should leave the rhyming to the experts.  (Are there really rhyming experts out there?  How's that for a speed dating icebreaker?)

I totally looks like CK is eating his boogers!!!  I think he was just wiping the water off of his nose and he also has a habit of biting his nails.  Since it a bunch of images smashed together to make the video, it totally looks like he is chowing down on a nostril snack.   Hey there, blackmail!!

Givin' it a whirl

Life in pictures and videos:

This is CK after about an hour into the lesson.  They said he picked it up immediately.
We visited this camp session on its final day as we were just passing through.  We crammed in a couple hours of riding to see if he'd like it.  Of course, he totally LOVED it!  So, we scheduled a full week of camp for later in the summer.

Afterwards, we made a pit stop at a friend's ranch to check out her llama.

 Kiss!
 Bullfrog score!

He is smiling at me here.
He kept kissing me and giving me suggestive looks.  What can I say? I am a llama's type of woman!  Lucky for him, I like a confident man.

A bushy bushy blonde hairdo, Surfin' U.S.A!

As usual, we went to Port Aransas this summer.  Only, to up the excitometer, we invited my cousin, Bonnie, and her crew - aka the Waco crew. They've appeared in this blog many times like here, here, and here.

We, again as usual, made an adventure out of the drive.  We stopped in San Antonio for a graduation pool party for my cousin.  If there is water, we are soooo there.
Okaaay, we went to see the family, too.
(Oh, stop it.  Now you're making me feel bad.)

See that waterfall?  Tay LOOVED jumping off of that thing into the water.
Then she'd swim up to whoever was closest.

We took the tiny clown car (Ryan's commuter, the Civic).  I drove because that is what I do, and lets face it, the passenger seat in a car full of kids is just about the worst thing life can throw at you.  To make things even more stressful, Maven doesn't sleep in the car.  So, we were trapped in a 5x10 box with a crying baby, a boy crammed between two very large car seats, and a little girl that likes to come up with the world's most annoying sounds - on repeat.
To entertain herself, Maven pulled CK's hair THE entire ride.  He cried MANY times.  She smiled and squealed every time.
How do you correct a baby?
It was kind of funny.
So, let me rephrase... how do you correct a baby and not laugh?
Poor Christian.  We never did come up with an answer to our pondering thought.
Once at the beach, we spread out of the car like ants from a disrupted mound.
Tay got stung by a jellyfish, because that is what she does - gets stung - by jellyfish.
Twice.
Then she was bit by a crab on her finger.  And it didn't let go.
Christian surfed, because that is what he does.
Maven did baby things, because that is what she does.  Every.single.day.  Borr-ring.
I kid, I kid.

There's that bushy bushy blonde hairdo!
