Out West

Last weekend we ventured west a little to attend the Matthews family reunion in Glen Rose.  Christian loved when Ryan's uncle did his Donald Duck impression.  He couldn't get enough of it.
Some of the ladies went shopping, the kids went swimming in the pool, some of us went to a swimming hole, and we all went out to eat for dinner.  The swim hole was awesome!  The water was a little warm for my taste, but it was beautiful.  The moss covered rocks were perfect for sliding.  We looked like we had finished off a bottle of Crown Royal walking on those slippery stones.
We weren't exactly sure if we were going to stay the night out there, but we brought our bags just in case.  Turns out, we did need to stay.  There was no way either of us could have driven back that late.
Plus, we skipped one town over to Granbury the following morning to see the Melton family off.  They were all packed up and ready to move to Colorado.  Boy... we can't wait to go visit them in their new awesome mountain cabin!
On a little side note, all four of us came back with colds.  Ick.

CK was tired so he was a bit cranky.  He didn't want to swim here, he wanted to swim in the pool... blah, blah, blah. But he lit up as soon as he saw the swim hole!

Keeton and Christian are only about a month apart.
All the hip kids are doing it!  You ain't cool 'less you slide down the moss cement wall.
It took Ryan and CK about 10 minutes to figure out how walk up this slippery slope.
Foot shot.  Gotta have me some.

 Cuteness.
 Hang ten!!!

 The little fifth cousins.
 Ryan's school of skipping stones...
This is how life changing decisions are made - very important talk going on right here.

Then we stopped by the Melton's casa for a little visit and panty swim.

There was a water droplet on my lense. Funny how it looks like I censored this photo.
 Another censor right on target
 Tator looooves the water!
