20 Minute Car Ride with a 4 Year Old

"I don't want to use our power, okay?"

"What do you mean?"

 "Our car power. I don't want to use it."

"Okay, I won't push the NAS button tonight, then."

"I have power.  Did you know that?"

"Really?  Does your dad have power, too?"

"Yup.  He has wind power."

"Well, what about me?  Do I have power?"

"You have superpower.  And Taylor has move power.  I have, um, run power. But I need to get more wind power.  Where do I get more wind power from?"

"Remember?  You have already come up with that solution."

"Oh, I know!  I can get it from the sky!"

The conversation quickly jumped subjects....

"Thats where the king lives." (pointing at a random church)

"That's right. That is where Jesus is."

"No. A king."

"Baby, that is not a palace.  It is a church.  You know, like ours - where you go to learn."

"Well some crowned guy lives over there in the trees. Not UP the trees, but IN the trees.  Far away."

"Oh yeah?  Hhmm... What is the crowned guy's name?"

"Afrobena. He has run power."

"What does Afrobena do?"

 "He just likes red and green. His mom's name is Jack. And he has a sister.  Her name is Doo.  And he has a brother.  His name is Jade."

"I am just trying to understand these names here, so tell me... are they maybe Asian?"

 "No."

 "Are they Laotian?"

"Yes."
