Bikini Bod

Miss Taylor Rose has it down -  Beer belly, thunder thighs, and junk in the trunk.  It couldn't be any cuter than on this little piglet.  Trust me, I have tried that look on myself and it really isn't the same - just gross.

 Crash.  What a day!

Soccer Mom

Yup.  I am officially a soccer mom, minus the mivi van.
(though we have rented one for, like, a week before)
Ryan is Christian's coach.  They both looove it.  Last year, CK seemed to be bored with t-ball.  Soccer is just about the perfect sport for energetic preschoolers.  They can run around the entire game, chasing the ball, falling on the ground, and wearing themselves out. Genius!
This is our first year with Upward Sports and we really like it!  Ryan does a devotional during each practice.  Its a great way for him to show his leadership for Christ.

Practice
Ryan is giving his team a pep talk during practice. (Taylor Rose is helping)
Game Time!  Go CK!!
He is always after the ball!
And she is always trying to get in the middle of it
 Go number 4!!
I heard someone behind me say "that kid is fast!", talking about Christian.
Coach Ryan is putting the kids in their spots.
 Gotta fight for that ball!
I love how CK's hand is on his daddy's back in this pic.
And here Ryan's hand is on Christian's back. So sweet!
I spent my time rounding up one very rowdy baby girl.  She wanted to sit with every stranger there.
Nice action shot!  Get that ball CK!
My dad stuck Tay's head in the flag.  She thought it was so funny when the wind made it bang into her head!

A Day With Thomas

Our friends had their two boys' birthday parties in Grapevine at A Day With Thomas.  The weather was in a funk that day and it was coooold.  What's up with that?  It had been beautiful for weeks!  We still had a really good time.  It was Ryan's first train ride, as well as the kids'.

Fun, Fun, Fun in the Sun

The boys all went to the farm, so the girls went to the lake with the babies.
We all got a little bit of sun.  Especially Nikki!  She was pretty fair to begin with, so slathering on tanning oil didn't help at all!
I didn't realize how quickly Tay can tan!  She and CK both get dark pretty fast.  I know she will love that fact when she is older.
Sky and Tay were little love birds.  Adorable!

I tried to get a picture of all three kids, but Sky was over it.  (haha... look at his ponytail!)

Aaaahhhh!  There is a swamp zombie coming out of the water!!

Gorilla Challenge

A few weeks ago, we did the Gorilla Challenge in Dallas.  Its sort of a local version of Amazing Race.  Each team is given a list of riddles.  The team is required to solve the riddle, run to the location in the riddle's answer, and take a picture posing or doing whatever is suggested in the riddle.  We were allowed to use public transportation, but nothing else.
Ryan, Tristan, Candice, and I were all on a team - Go! Rillas.  We made shirts, planned out maps, and were totally prepared.  Each of us took a role... Candice was the navigator with her GPS, Ryan was the mapper (that is his profession, after all), Tristan was the cheeleader and kept us going the whole time, and I was the coordinator/strategizer.  It worked perfectly!  We actually got ALL of the riddles correct.  Go us!  We didn't win, probably because we chose NOT to use public transportation.  We thought we could make better time by running and not waiting on a bus or taxi.  Even without the prize, we had a great time!
So many people had such great costumes!
They used visors as beards... Brilliant!!
 Wow!  Look at those costumes!
Check out the 80's Jazzercisers in the background.  Hahaha!
