Best My Friend

Christian gets words mixed up sometimes and I love it!  We very rarely correct his speech.  He will eventually fix it himself so we just bask in the cuteness.

One of my favorite Christian-isms is when he says "You best my friend".  Ugh!  I love it!

Port Aransas

We took our first vacation of the summer and as a family of four to Port Aransas. Its was a good trip to test the water (Haha! Nice pun!) with a bit more of a bunch than we are used to. It went smoothly, as most things do with Taylor. She isn't too keen on the wind and sun, so we fought those elements as best as could on the beach.

Sights very rarely seen

Taylor rarely cries. Very rarely. She is full of smiles and coos. I did manage to catch her slightly unhappy, though.

She ended up bursting into tears right after I took this... probably because she was hungry and, instead, I was taking pictures.

Poor Bam - again

I left Christian alone with the dogs in the backyard while I did some packing. What's the worst that could happen, right? Luckily, the worst didn't happen but Bam did mysteriously get a wet sand bath. Since no one fessed up to the attack, Christian had to pay. At least it wasn't scissors this time. Bam is still recovering from the last haircut. I don't think making Christian clean up the mess was as much of a punishment for him as it was for Bam.
