Imagination at Play

Both kids are at such a fun and creative age.  Christian has a very big imagination and its so exciting to see Taylor Rose's wheels turning, too.

Here, Tay put on her high heels and took her baby shopping.
She said they were going to get cookies.
I don't think she found any in my bathroom, though.
The other day I let the kids play in shaving cream.
They quickly decided to bathe themselves in it.
I think Tay even ate some.
Her face was covered!
So, we took it outdoors and emptied the shaving cream into the little pool.

They jumped on the trampoline and then decided to jump with the water hose to clean off.

Christian made these little boats with my mom at her house.  He and Tay painted them.
The neighbor kids came over and all the kids played with clay.
Jade made me the ring holder and CK made the duck boat (which actually really looks like a duck, though its hard to tell in this picture).

Polishing Up

Christian and Taylor Rose have been polishing up on a few talents...
Christian has been working on some new skateboard tricks.  I called it a kick-flip in the video, but its actually a pop shove-it that he is working on.  He can do it inside on the carpet and actually get the board all around to a 180.
Taylor Rose is VERY determined to ride her bike by herself.  She is doing pretty good, though she goes backwards sometimes.  She has also been learning LOTS of songs on her own.  The only songs that I actually put effort into teaching her are the ABC song and the spelling of her name, which I put into a song to make it fun.  She really has a great memory, so she picks up many different tunes.

Fun Day with the Elsner Family

We visited our friends on their 30 acre property and had a great time playing.  The guys spent the day fishing, I relaxed my pregnant belly, and the kids ate dirt.  We didn't want to leave!
